Long Distance Affair is a multi-artist, multi national collaboration and a one of a kind theatrical event: a Skype show for an audience gathered in one place with performances given by actors spread out around the world. We had 6 successful productions since 2011 with more than 75 artists world wide, and presentations in NYC, Mexico, Edinburgh and Buenos Aires, and Bucharest, Romania.
The show itself is planned to take place around the world, but the audience will view it via Skype from a single loccation. Each audience is assigned a computer with a ready made connection to one actor located in a different part of the world. Each performance is one audience member at a time.

EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE (2013)
LDA performed in the prestigious festival 2-25 August 2013 at Summerhall. 50 artists from 6 continents joined the project. Visit Artists page to see all the participants and their bios. Huffington Post UK reviewd the show: "Theatre is often comfortable voyeurism - Long Distance Affair rejects this traditional role. You become as much a part of the narrative as the actor, making the experience surprisingly raw and unsettling, as your past life spills into the story, sharing it with a perfect stranger. Margineanu’s production is dangerous, thrilling and a fascinating piece of psychological theatre."
